COTD – Finding Balance

Cotd for Tuesday, September 2, 2014 is from the Legend of the Divine Tarot by Ciro Marchetti 2009, Llewellyn Publications.

Two of Coins - Legacy of the Divine TarotTwo of Coins:  “A colorful figure grasps two coins.  They might represent material or spiritual values, and he wishes to hold on to both.  This will require decisions and choices based on any number of influences, from training and life experience, with lessons learned from the past, to instinct and gut feeling about the future.  This balancing act is symbolized here as he cycles along, his progress constantly oscillating between a rainbow path of hope and the buffeting of life’s turbulent waves.” ~Ciro Marchetti

“Walk on a rainbow trail; walk on a trail of song, and all about you will be beauty.  There is a way out of every dark mist, over a rainbow trail.”  ~Robert Motherwell

It seems The High Priestess isn’t finished with her lessons quite yet and asks that we continue to seek answers from within…  Striking a balance is difficult in the best of circumstances, but when we try to go against the current, it can feel almost impossible.  Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and have to concede “territory” we once thought imperative to possess.  When you’re really pressed to be objective and ask whether or not what you are trying to hold onto is really worth the extra effort of an almost impossible balancing act, or if you would better off, in the long run, in letting it go.  Are you having a difficult time juggling everything?  What do you need to do or adjust to bring better balance to you and your life?

If you are attempting to juggle and stay balanced and are finding it more difficult as you go, then it’s likely time to set something aside, something which doesn’t seem as important now as it once was and realize is no longer relevant to you or your happiness.  Strive for balance and free yourself from a precarious ride.

Happy Find Your Balance Tuesday!

It’s “funny” how our perspective changes over time. I think many of us get so used to carrying all these pentacles that it doesn’t occur to us that we can put
one or more down until someone makes the suggestion. I say Yay! for lighter loads.

It is funny but the older i get the more easy riding this bike with two pentacles becomes.I used to think everything was equally important and felt guilty if I dropped one of my pentacles. This attitude made me fall flat on the face so now my pentacles are light and I don’t mind if I put one of them in the fridge for a while
