Cotd for Saturday, January 24, 2015 is from Tarot of the Hidden Realm by Julia Jeffrey, companion book Journey into the Hidden Realm by Barbara Moore. 2013
“With reverence, he holds the ancient, silver memory bowl, a gift from his father, and heirloom. There was a time when this bowl was a curse, when its contents haunted and tormented him. But now he has learned to cherish what he finds here, for it is nothing more and nothing less than a prefect reflection of his heart and all it contains: every joy and every hurt, every dream and every regret, every smile and every tear, every love he has ever held dear. They are now in the past. Done. Never to be regained, but never to be forgotten”
He has attained a place of peace of satisfaction. What we all yearn for and actively seek. He has let go of the negative feelings he had towards the chalice and what it represented and has moved onto a place where with acceptance he now cherishes the heirloom. Now he has an understanding where before he knew fear. He has let go and moved on and can now see with different eyes and feel with a different heart, one that is free.
This is a card of satisfaction whether it shows up during happy times or tough. It can be a blessing during easy times and a gift during hard times. “Whether facing good times or bad, behave in such a way that, when you look back on your actions, it will be with satisfaction and not with regret.”
