Finding Your Voice

Oracle Guidance for week beginning Sunday, August 24, 2014 from the Oracle of Shadows & Light by Lucy Cavendish.

Violet DuchessThe Violet Duchess is about as miserable as a Duchess can be.  “She is tired of the stuffiness of people around her, of being proper, formal, and ever so ladylike!  She finds herself restricted by a world where manners and protocols have become more important than spontaneity, magick, and freedom, and she longs for that.”

This week’s lesson/challenge will be for you to speak up and be heard.  When you see an injustice, or other unfair situation (if you have not already found yourself in this situation) you will be hard pressed to say nothing.  If your normal m.o. is to keep your head down, you will not be able to contain yourself this time around.  Although your council may have not been sought and speaking up may ruffle a few feathers, you cannot in good conscience keep silent.  Taking a stance will leave you feeling liberated and don’t be surprised if others around you are inspired and take up the gauntlet as well.

Thank you Ellen, and the funny thing is I just realized (after reading your comment) that I did indeed follow this advice, on more than one occasion. It was bound to happen and long overdue!
Autumn is my favorite time of year and the time I feel the deepest connection to nature. It’s funny how the seasons can change the way we see both the inner and outer “colors” of the season. 🙂

This is indeed a good advise! To often we keep silent for peace sake.
How lovely to see this deck again! It has been to long since I’ve used it myself.
Now Autumn is coming rapidly I feel more attracted to the more “darker” decks.
