Three card reading for Monday, July 14, 2014 from the Druid Craft Tarot by Philip & Stephanie Carr-Gromm.
Seven of Pentacles Rx – Ten of Wands – Eight of Wands
“Never give up on something you really want. It’s difficult to work hard for it and wait for it, but it’s even more difficult to regret.” ~Unknown
We have extremes on either end of the spread with the red light of the Seven of Pentacles reversed, and the green light of the Eight of Wands. The trick here is not to allow yourself to become overwhelmed. The “hurry up and wait” feeling you may be experiencing is frustrating, yes, but if you want the best possible outcome (and of course you do!) steady restraint is the message to hear.
Transitions are the theme for the week and keeping this concept in mind will help you navigate through the changes and odd detours you will likely encounter. You need to put away your to-do lists for now or you will feel like pulling your hair out when you are unable to cross anything off. It’s a time for reassessing your priorities, delegating, and releasing the insane idea that you are experiencing failure in some way. You have a lot on your plate and maybe you feel you have bitten off more than you can chew. Well, there is no law, written or otherwise, which says you have to do it all and now, so let it go. If you think you need your lists, etc,. you can pick them back up in a few days or better yet, next week. This is just a holding pattern, not the end of the flight.
In the meantime, allow the Divine/Universe to steer the course. Breathe deeply and release your death grip on the wheel. “Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change”…
NOTE* Cotd for Monday, July 14, 2014 from the Druid Craft Tarot by Philip & Stephanie Carr-Gomm
Seven of Pentacles (reversed) : You may be experiencing dissatisfaction with your job or with a project, or you may feel you are not getting enough reward for your work or for the energy you are putting into something. You could well be feeling exhausted, since there never seem to be enough hours in the day, or you may be feeling impatient, worried or melancholy.
You’ve put in the time and energy into a project, situation or relationship, but still you’ve not seen the the returns you had hoped for. It’s not a failure, it’s just not the optimal outcome you wished. At this juncture, it’s time to take stock of your position and progress and rethink the process. It’s not quite ready for the scrap heap, it just needs some re-working. Put today’s energies of “introspection” to good use. Sit with it awhile, dismantle the parts that aren’t quite working, and devise a plan to reassemble a more workable model.
This week’s Oracle Guidance is about transitioning and with that learning acceptance and adaptability. The aforementioned dilemma neatly falls into this category as you are forced to take stock before moving forward. Once you have a fully formed plan, move forward with grace and a quiet determination.
