Reading February 24, 2015

Reading for Tuesday, February 24, 2015 is from The Cook’s Tarot by Judith Mackay Stirt – 2014. Schiffer Publishing, Ltd.

The Cook's TarotTen of Pentacles – Nine of Swords – Nine of Wands

“He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have.” ~Socrates

Today;s reading is very family oriented and planning for the future.  Right now you are being asked to take charge and make some decisions in regards to finances and security.  The goose that laid the golden eggs brings wealth as long as there is no greed.  Your worries on these issues (the Nine of Swords) will lessen as long as you take the precautionary steps necessary to protect your assets.  Make sure your home, car, and health insurance is up to date.  Invest in reliable returns, not get rich quick schemes, and make plans for a more secure tomorrow.  Things aren’t as dire as you might think.

If there is an inheritance coming your way, be cautious in how you handle it.  Get good advice before making any big decisions.

The Nine of Wands gives this advice from the companion book.  “Focus your attention.  Don’t trip over the cat because your looking over your shoulder for a tiger.”  In other words, don’t lose sight of the big picture.  Yes, there is a very good chance your finances could get a boost, or you could receive an unexpected wind-fall.  Either way, you have to keep your senses about you and don’t allow greed to spoil your good fortune.
