The Cook's TarotFour of Pentacles – Eight of Cups – The Fool

Few things are brought to a successful issue by impetuous desire, but most by calm and prudent forethought.  ~Thucydides

How do you know when to hold on and when to let go, an age old question and there aren’t always any clear-cut answers.  What is clear is that change and the opportunity for change is at hand and inevitable.  The downfall is being too impetuous and making rash decisions/choices when a little more forethought could avoid heartache and hardship down the road.

The message echoes yesterday’s reading in planning for the future.  This future seems to be more short term than long term, but is just as vitally important.  The old adage applies, “waste not, want not” and will guard against going without later on.  Spend and plan wisely without hoarding.
