Reading February 5, 2014

The reading for Wednesday, February 5, 2014 comes from the Joie de Vivre Tarot by Paulina Cassidy.  U.S. Games Systems, Inc. 2011

Four of Coins, Nine of Coins, Two of Cups

Joie de Vivre Tarot

Today’s combo makes me think of retirement and making plans for a comfortable future.  But also Independence and taking responsibility in creating the life you want to lead. In this case the advice seems to be pretty straight forward;  that saving and careful planning is the way to create the life we want and having someone(s) to share it with makes it all the sweeter and satisfying.

If we become too wrapped up (obsessed)  in achieving these goal though, we run the risk of alienating those we care most about and wondering where everyone went having gone on with their own lives while we were busy working toward this crowning moment.  Allow others to participate and share in helping to create the better and comfortable future we would wish for.  It’s wonderful to be independent and self-reliant, but don’t shut-out those who are willing and able to contribute.

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.”  ~Greg Anderson

Nice reading. I agree it is wise to save for the future but we also have to live now. For the future is to uncertain to rely on.
