Reading for Friday, August 21, 2015 is from the Tarot D: The Didactic Tarot by Jeffrey M. Donato 2015 – Schiffer Publishing Ltd.

Tarot DFive of Wands – Breaking Branches

Meaning:  a feeling that the world is against you, fighting back, disagreement, competition, excitement, power struggles, conflict, confusion, panic, inner doubts, leaping into the fray and doing battle, hard work.

“Set upon by evil Shadow’s paragons, they were!  Eon did tear the virile heart from out the villain’s chest while Iode lay scarred and wounded”  (pg. 29)

Affirmation / Thought for the Day:  “Imagine a wall that’s green on one side and red on the other. You stand on one side and only see green. I stand on the other side and only see red. We’ll both be right about the color we see, even though we disagree on what color the wall is. Being able to realize that the other person has a valid point, even if you disagree with it, that’s maturity.”  ~Oliver Gaspirtz

The conflicts of yesterday have possibly festered and an easy resolution seems out of reach.  Depending on your state of mind at this time, you could see the situation and quite stressful or stimulating.  Hopefully you will find it a challenge to remedy what seems to be unsolvable.    I don’t believe in unsolvable situations as a compromise can always be reached, if the parties are willing.  (Healthy) Competition and/or conflict resolution aren’t meant to be a blood-bath-cage-matches where you are left with a clear winner and a loser.  So, retract your claws and put on your negotiators hat and prepare for round 2.  See how creative you can be to bring about a peaceful solution.
