“Stall Tactics”

Hanged Man, Two of Swords, Temperance                                                                      The Llewellyn Tarot

In the Two of Swords, the subject is stuck between the Hanged Man and Temperance.  She is unable to make a decision possibly because of conflicting information, a lack of information, and/or fear of making a decision.  To her immediate right the Hanged Man advises constraint and (temporary) surrender.  While on the (left) hand, Temperance gives the advice of blending the choices rather than choosing one over the other.  Still, if you opt for the blending method, you will  have to decide which are the best elements in the choices available, to blend for the optimal outcome.  This will take some thought and research on your part.  While stalling-for-time isn’t your preferred method of operation, it appears to be the best solution for the moment.  Use this ‘extra’ time constructively to look into the matter more fully and from different angles.
