Ace – Eight of Swords – Tree of Life
“Forget about the consequences of failure. Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success.” Denis Waitley
Unexpected opportunities can present themselves in the most unconventional packages, so much so that we often miss them. The Ace of Coins, provides us with just such an opportunity possibly in the guise of a change for the better in our health, our finances, and/or abundant resources. The Eight of Swords shows us how we can get in our own way due to preconceived notions and biases. Be careful to not judge any book by its cover. You’re going to have to step outside of your comfort zone and possibly put something on the line. Especially if what you are risking is an old worn-out notion that just holds you back anyway. To hold onto something (fear) which does not allow you to grow and move forward is like cutting off your nose just to spite your face.
The Tree of Life reminds us to not lose sight of what is most important in life. It shows beginnings, endings, and everything that comes in between before the wonderment starts all over from the beginning again. Soul Food: “As above – as below, is the bread that sandwiches the spiced meat and condiments with which we fill our lives between birth and re-birth.”
“Cat knew she’d arrived in Gaia’s realm once she saw the Tree of Life, the foundation for all that was above and below…. The Tree of Life, no matter what religion one embraced, was a symbol of consanguinity. It was the universal representation of all that exists. Its network of connections matched that of a forest of aspen trees. Everything was interconnected and all of the roots led back to one source – the creators of all life.”
