Vision Quest TarotMother of Water – Eight of Water – Big Medicine Wheel  (The World)

Affirmation / Thought for the Day:  “No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!”

For today’s reading I’m going read right to left beginning with card 21.  “A major change in your circumstance is likely. The eternal Wheel is turning, showing you a new direction.  This may relate to your work, love life, or the entire network of your relationships. Don’t let the fears and doubts habitually produced by your head hold you back.  Something fresh and exciting is almost within reach.”  if you look at last Saturday’s reading you’ll see The Tower bringing a big change, especially where money is concerned.  It was a very trying week (needed a brake job, dryer quit, and transmission went out on my van) in which the after-effects are still being felt and will be for awhile now.  The rest of this week has been about changes, transformation, and balance, especially where our male and female energies are concerned.  The change predicted here is a change for the better, as long as you release the fear (of the unknown) and preconceived notions that have little to no bearing on your current reality.

The Eight of Water – “Nothing works… at least that’s how it seems right now.  Because the free-flow of your energy is blocked by tension, a prolonged inner stiffening sadness arises along with heaviness and feelings of oppression.  Let go of your old, burdensome ideas of who you have to be, or how you have to feel and live your life.”   Wonderful advice really, but it can feel like a jagged little pill slipping down your gullet, especially if you trying to swim against the current.  If you have something to say, then say it.  Get if off your chest, then move on – let it go.  You don’t have to “like” the changes, but you might feel better to say so.  Then let it go.  If you don’t get it off your chest, it will fester and rot.  You don’t want to go there.

Mother of Water (Queen of Cups) – “She represents the natural powers of your feminine aspect.  She shows you  just how much the balancing of the male-female forces will contribute to your emotional security and over all serenity.  A situation demands your intuitive insight.  To deal with it effectively, you must rely on your feminine qualities.  By trusting these, you will not only understand yourself more thoroughly, but everything connected to the situation too.  Your conscious passivity and heartfelt empathy will reveal an entirely new perspective on things.  This viewpoint gives you what is needed to proceed.”   Your situation, it’s not as bad as it seems, although understandably you’re frustrated.

Keep things in perspective, let your heart lead and your head will follow. It’s ok to say you’re pissed, so say it and get it off your chest, and allow the next new phase to begin.  Look forward to it and expect the changes to be for the better.
