Reading for Saturday, June 20, 2015 is from The Tarot of Trees by Dana Driscoll – 2nd Edition, 2012.
Affirmation / Thought for the Day: “You’re going to fall in love so many times before you find the one you will be with forever. So think of it this way: You’re just one broken heart to a happily forever after.” ~Unknown
The Knight of Cups is active and passionate, especially in the area of feelings, love, and and union with another. He acts on emotional desires and encourages wholehearted involvement in loving relationships of all types. Don’t be afraid to take risks in love or to wear your heart on your sleeve. But, what if you are too afraid of having your heart broken? Well, let’s face it, it happens. We take a chance and put ourselves out there only to get our heart broken, again. But instead of hiding from this fear, the Three of Swords asks us to confront and examine our disappointments in order to learn from them and to let them go. If everyone feared having their heart broken to the point of never risking “love” again, there would be very few people to love.
The Moon doesn’t shed much light on the situation other than add some confusion and mystery. You may feel a lack of clarity in what you want, as if several parts of you are crying out for different things. Things are still in a state of development in your inner world. There is a push and pull on your moods and emotions, and choices are difficult. This is a good time for you to do some soul searching, asking yourself some hard questions about what you want and what you need. The Moon brings a different perspective and can illuminate what was previously hidden. Do not fear what you cannot clearly see at this time. Take chances, fall in love as often as you can, and never fear your heart being broken at the risk of never finding your love.
“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.”
