Today’s reading is from the Bonefire Tarot by Gabi Gingus-West published by Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. 2016.
Ten of Cups – Four of Coins – Two of Cups
“We’ve got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can’t just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it’s going to get on by itself. You’ve got to keep watering it. You’ve got to really look after it and nurture it.” ~John Lennon
Today promises to be a good day. A day to spend with those closest to you, those people you have shared life and love. This particular Ten of Cups shows filled cups waiting to be served and the imbibers are just out of view. Maybe they aren’t close to hand, but the intention is to share and enjoy with them. “Depicted is that perfect day of your dreams and memories, when all is wonderful and vibrant; you are surrounded by everyone you love and who loves you back.”
Time has a way of getting away from us. The old saying, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making a life”, or something close to that, comes to mind. The Four of Coins tells us that we may need to adjust our priorities or we miss those moments that we are working so hard to provide. It doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong, but you need a reminder to enjoy your life and the people in it, while you are able.
The Two of Cups, in our reading, can signify a new love interest or a renewed love interest. If you are in a long term relationship you know that from time to time we need to shake things up a bit and pump some new life and adventure into it. It can become too familiar and run-of-the-mill. Remember that significant someone and why you are together. Rekindle that old flame. All of your relationships and partnerships may need some attention, so be sure to touch base with and check in with the people in your life.
