Reading for Wednesday, June 10, 2015 is from the Ancestral Path Tarot by Julia Cuccia-Watts – 1995, 2013 U.S. Games Systems, Inc.

Ancestral Path TArotTen of Staves – Two of Swords – Four of Sacred Circles

Affirmation / Thought of the Day: Human beings are born solitary, but everywhere they are in chains – daisy chains – of interactivity. Social actions are makeshift forms, often courageous, sometimes ridiculous, always strange. And in a way, every social action is a negotiation, a compromise between ‘his,’ ‘her’ or ‘their’ wish and yours.”  ~Andy Warhol

Balancing home and work right now feels almost impossible.   The Two of Swords (difficult choice, stalemate, indecision) sits between the need to “nest”, to create the home you desire, -Four of Sacred Circles- creating harmony at work and home, and the oppressive responsibilities and obligations -Ten of Staves- you feel in your service to society, family, or your job.  This is no easy task, but it may not be as difficult as you think.  The Two of Swords is also about negotiation.  Ultimately you have to be the one to decide where you are willing to give a little to achieve the balance you want.  Or, at the very least, come closer than what you have right now.

You’re born and then you die…everything that comes between is negotiable.
