The Robin Wood Tarot The High Priestess – Ace of Pentacles – Six of Pentacles

“Knowledge sought is knowledge gained and brings blessings of spiritual and material abundance that multiply in reward when shared with grace and compassion.”

The High Priestess speaks to us of intuition and hidden wisdom.  She is the keeper of knowledge and dwells at the apex between the material and spiritual worlds.  She encourages us to trust in and listen to our intuitions, she suggests spending time alone heading the natural rhythms and cycles of our bodies and at times to keep your own counsel  and look inside for your answers.

If you are interested in finding out more about The High Priestess and her message you might try this Tarot spread by Rachel Pollack, from Tarot Wisdom.  Draw five cards to answer these questions.

  1. What is deep within me?
  2. How can I know it?
  3. How can I be true to it?
  4. What do I need to give to others?
  5. What do I need to keep within?

The Ace of Pentacles is a “yes” card and is a gift bringing new opportunities, prosperity, good health, and/or recognition.  As Pentacles deal with material and spiritual aspects, the ace brings double blessings.  On a mundane level, this could mean a windfall, a new job, or a raise.

The Six of Pentacles is the card of giving and receiving.  Generosity begets generosity.  Because Pentacles are closely related to finances, you may be thinking of giving to charities as a means of giving back to society.  The Ace of Pentacles brings these gifts and opportunities to you, now you may want to consider sharing in your good fortune.

Points to Ponder:  (Tarot for Yourself-Mary K. Greer)

  • With whom are you sharing your prosperity and resources?
  • How and to whom are you a mentor, advisor, or patron?
  • How are you sharing the wealth (of money, talent, information)?
  • What do you have to give that others need?
  • How are you managing your time?
  • What and from whom do you receive?
