“Setting New Goals”

LWB – Ecological and/or global issues.  Perfection, recognition, fulfillment, complete success, achievement.  Rewards reaped from hard work. Long-term goals accomplished.

The World card reminds me to keep setting new goals, no matter how big or small, or whether they are long term or short.

It’s always a good idea to keep setting new goals, but sometimes we lose sight of all the little, daily goals we do achieve because we are too focused on the “big” long-term ones that always seem just out of our reach.  Like the imaginary line of the horizon, the closer we get, the more the distance just never seems to change, as if we are running in place.  IMHO this isn’t really true.  Each and everyday we accomplish many goals, even if we aren’t consciously aware.  Try writing down every single time you finish (or take the next step towards that finish) and before you know it you will likely have a long list of all you have accomplished.

Never stop setting new goals, and never stop working towards your long-term, big ones either.

“Dance Like Nobody’s Watching”

Have you the desire to take dancing lessons, night classes, or some other extended learning course?  Something you would like to do and learn just for yourself and maybe didn’t feel (until now) that you had the extra time to spare?  If so, you are receiving encouragement from the Universe to pursue this now.

Wherever your interests lay, consider looking into joining a class or group.  Start by taking the steps today to begin fulfilling your own wish(es).

Where I am:  The Page reminds me that a little patience will go along way.  In this instance it won’t make much difference how hard you work or wish, your results will come when the time is right.  You can’t make the fish bite, no matter how much you want it too.

Where I’m headed:  Patience pays off.  Success, triumphs, finish line.

How to get to the Six of Rods (gracefully) The Seven of Cups gives several options to choose from, items that will help the journey between the Page and arriving at the Six of Rods, some are better than others in helping me to arrive where I want to arrive.

“Mindless Chores”

That “to-do” list will just have to wait, today you will need to concentrate on accomplishing just what you have to without beginning anything new.  Instead, concentrate on those hum-drum mindless tasks we usually do on a regular basis.  Clearing away today’s cobwebs and dust bunnies will give you a better view and clarity in thought for better understanding and handling anything (like a monkey wrench in the works) that crops up.

LWB – The Hermit represents retreat from the world into solitude to search within oneself for deeper meaning.  It is a time to put projects on hold, get rid of distractions and concentrate on introspection and meditation in order to re-evaluate one’s goals an current path.  The Hermit is portrayed sitting alone on a mountaintop, gazing down at the world below, in order to gain a greater perspective and deeper understanding of the universe.
