Overthinking.

What happens when we overthink and question every thought, plan, move, (past-present-and-future), situation, or conversation? We find that everything comes to a halt. A certain amount of scrutiny and self-examination is normal, but when it becomes overwhelming and obsessive, this is when it becomes a real problem. Instead of being ready for action, overthinking sets up obstacles that bring your process to a halt, or at lease hampers its progress.

Overthinking and careful planning are not the same thing, overthinking can lead to a self-defeating mental trap that can lead to triggering an agonizing process of self-analysis, that leaves you going in circles – going nowhere.

Be careful to not fall into this unending cycle. Trust that the Universe has your best interests in mind. So don our self-confidence cape and move forward. When you flip this card over, you see that everything is flowing as it should be. Get out of your own way and allow the forward action to continue. You’ll be glad you did.

“The sharpest minds often ruin their lives by overthinking the next step, while the dull win the race with eyes closed.”
