“At the end of the day it’s about how much you can bear, how much you can endure.”
― Tabitha Suzuma

It’s been a challenging week, that’s for sure. Not so much on the home front, but certainly at work, and handling the plethora of problems presented by the general public can make you crazy. At times it has felt as if I was trying to make my way through a bramble patch with as few scrapes and scratches as possible. It’s almost impossible to go unscathed through a patch of thorns, but you must pick your way slowly and carefully. The trick is not to stop half way, but to push through to the other side. If you turn back, you’re not only going to lose what ground you’ve covered, but you’re still going to get pricked. Might as well keep going and come out the other side. Your commitment and determination will serve you well for the next patch of prickles you no doubt will encounter.

Perseverance, resourcefulness, and hard work, are paying off. We’ve seen the rewards of pushing through a rough patch, and coming out on the other side may feel like a small victory, but a Victory it is! In the Queen of Pentacles we see a woman who takes her job seriously and is a good provider. She is protective of those in her care and can be a formidable force in protecting her charges. Generous and nurturing to a fault, but don’t let that fool you she is not one to be trifled with, she knows what she is about and her generosity has limits. The Seven of Pentacles are the fruits of your labor. Now is the time to weigh the returns for all your hard work. You’ve invested your time and energy and now you must assess your profits and plan your next stage. What are your results/rewards? Are they sustainable to your long term plan?

“I will continue to push through the rough times, not only for myself but for those I love and care for, because I know my reward awaits on the other side.”
