The Four of Cups, Justice, and Knight of Cups, from the
Retrospective Tarot, by Ciro Marchetti.

Complacency clouds sound judgement and quickly loses sight of right and wrong. Although we are living in difficult times, we must not become too numb to what is happening in the world around us. “Shelter in place” has quickly become the norm for many of us and it is a necessity as we try to protect ourselves and our families.

The average age of the world’s great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage.” ~Alexander Fraser Tytler

For the time being we must remain vigilant in protecting ourselves and our loved ones. And when the crisis is over, we have to remember to get back out and fight the good fight, right injustices where we find them, and above all, love our neighbors.

Everyone please be safe.
