“Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up.”
Robert Frost

If you need a pick-me-up today, here it is. It is Monday, a fresh new week with a fresh new outlook. It is comforting to know the Universe is showing us in the Seven of Wands, we have the inner strength and fortitude to handle anything that comes our way. We could even call the Seven of Wands, the social distancing card. This deck shows the central figure as putting up a wall or barrier, not actively in battle as we see in some other decks. The subject calmly looks out over their barrier, and appears to be content with it’s construction.

The Three of Cups is a card of success and/or celebration. It represents both a happy conclusion and a promise of a new beginning. As our world is contemplating re-opening and hopefully getting back to normal, we want to celebrate with our family and friends. The Seven of Wands adopts a cautionary stance advising a carefully planned timing for re-emergence. The time to give up social distancing has not yet arrived, but it will.

The Ace of Cups is a promise to come for beginnings of all good things; joy, love, and health.

I think today’s reading shows a great outlook for the week(s) to come. The Seven of Wands shows us the present situation of being cautious and patient. The Three of Cups shows us a glimpse of the not-so-distant past where we were free to share in celebration of life and love. While the Ace of Cups gives us a taste of the future with a promise of new beginnings.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and safe week.
