“Sometimes in life, you may take a step, only to realize the steps you missed. Sometimes in life, you may delay a step taking, only to see a step you shouldn’t have miss. Notwithstanding the results of your steps, you still ought to take steps. Life keeps moving and you can’t afford to be static! Keep on moving on!”
― Ernest Agyemang Yeboah

This week is all about daring to dream that dream. No matter how big or small you think your dreams might be, or whether you believe they are unobtainable, never stop dreaming. Every step you take towards that goal is another step in the right direction. It’s one step closer then you can see the way for the next step and so on. You might have to delay a step now and then, but you can’t let that deter you. Each and every effort you make towards making your dreams come true it a step in the right direction. Dare to Dream, never stop dreaming!

The Nine of Cups is known as the Wish or Wish Fulfillment card and shows wishes being granted. I sometimes see this too as the pay-it-forward card. It’s much easier to share in your good fortunes when you have an abundance, and when we pay-it-forward we are also gifted with the feeling of being blessed.

The Page of Wands looks dreamily up to the clouds as he raises his Wand to make magic by creating an alternate reality through his own creative abilities. He sees no boundaries to hinder his abilities and has no fear of failure. His youthful energy and vision will serve him well to see his dreams come true.

The Page of Cups dreams of love and romance as she sits on her Lotus. Although inexperienced in relationships, she is willing to be open to new experiences and expose her vulnerabilities. Maybe she does this because she has no fear of rejection no history of a broken heart, but instinctively she knows to blossom in a relationship she will have to let others see who she is.

Fear us a common thread in Daring to Dream. Don’t let fear stop you from dreaming or from working to make your dreams come true. Once you let go of fear, all Dreams are possible.

Points to Ponder:

  • In making my dreams a reality, what is it I fear most?
  • How do I stand in my own way to hinder my progress?
  • Do I believe my wishes can come true?
  • How can I use my creativity to see my goals met?
  • When’s the last time you dreamt?

I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed, that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted…
